Story

🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ My First Ever Triathlon!

On Saturday 19th July 2025, I’ll be taking on my first ever triathlon and I’m not sure whether to be excited or absolutely terrified!

The challenge?

750m lake swim 🌊 (because pools are too easy, apparently!)

20km cycle 🚴‍♀️

5km run 🏃‍♀️

This is a massive personal challenge for me and has involved a lot of cold water training. For those of you who know me will know that there's one thing I hate - the cold! (Think lakes with flies, algae and broken glass - grim right?!).

But I’m doing it for a cause that’s really close to my heart: Acacia Family Support.

Acacia is a charity that supports families who are struggling with mental health challenges during pregnancy or after birth.

They offer free, early support to parents during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives — and their work is absolutely life-changing.

I’ve seen first-hand how vital Acacia’s work is, which is why I’ve decided to swim, cycle and run my heart out to help them keep going. Small charities are facing a tough time right now, and every bit of support really does count.

If you can support me, I’d be so grateful. Every donation, no matter the size, will help Acacia be there for more mums, dads and babies who need a helping hand.

Thank you so much for reading, cheering me on, and hopefully laughing with me (not at me 🤣) along the way 💛
