For many women supported by The Bridge Project, crisis doesn’t happen once. It repeats.
Women come to Bridge at moments of acute need — leaving unsafe relationships, facing homelessness, managing substance use and trauma. Too often, the system has no safe, immediate place for women with these multiple needs to go. Without the right accommodation at the right time, women are pushed back into unsafe situations, rough sleeping, or repeated
This is not just about housing. It’s about intervening early, reducing harm and giving women the time, space and trust they need to begin rebuilding their lives.
Suggested text: I’m fundraising to help The Bridge Project create a small, 2‑bed crisis home for women in Bradford alongside one‑to‑one support from Bridge staff who already know and support these women. Donations will support this appeal and the wider delivery of safe, trauma‑informed accommodation for women.
