Story
This October, family and friends are coming together to move 100k to raise money for something really special: a new wheelchair for Sofia.
Eight-year-old Sofia has cerebral palsy (Spastic Diplegia), which makes walking harder - but if you know Sofia, you'll know she's strong, stubborn, and brilliantly funny.
Sofia is rapidly growing out of her current wheelchairs. Her parents and my wonderful friends, Charlotte and Roger, have found an amazing alternative. The only problem is the £15,000 price tag!
However, we’re determined to give Sofia the very best tools to help her thrive. A new wheelchair will give her more independence and freedom, making everyday life easier.
I’ll be completing my 100k by walking with a weighted vest. While this is a challenge for me (good luck, knees!), it also represents the added physical, emotional, and financial weight families carry when mobility isn’t easily accessible.
Please consider donating to support my weighted walks for Sofia’s wheels - together, we can make a difference!
Thank you for your support.
