Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! On Sunday 27th April, I’ll be taking on the challenge of running the the 2025 TCS London Marathon—having deferred my entry from last year due to injury.

Although I was fortunate to secure a place through the ballot, I want to use this opportunity to raise funds for two charities close to my heart.

The first is Alzheimer’s Society. We sadly lost my Grandad earlier this year, on 14th January, after his battle with mixed dementia—it’s been a tough few years, and anyone who knows someone living with dementia will understand the difficulties and sadness it brings. Alzheimer’s Society tackle every aspect of dementia, from raising awareness of the disease, funding research and giving people living with the condition and their families/carers the support they need.

The second is Samaritans of North Herts and Stevenage. I am proud to say my Dad is one of the many wonderful and selfless volunteers who provide invaluable and crucial support to those who need it most. Although the North Herts and Stevenage branch is part of the national Samaritans organisation, it is responsible for its own fundraising in order to stay operational, so your donation will go towards the running costs of this.

The support and encouragement I received last year during my training was incredible, and I felt there was no reason not to keep my page open until I finally crossed the finish line this year.
