Story
Sinead Tierney, Kathie Corrigan and I are joining Camp Out for Concern on Saturday 16th August to stand in solidarity with the families displaced by the ongoing conflict in Gaza and to raise funds to provide shelter, safety and hope for those forced to flee their homes.
Please support us and help to raise vital funds to ensure Concern can continue their live saving work in the region.
Right now, we are witnessing one of the most devastating humanitarian crises of our time. The situation in Gaza is worsening by the day.
Nearly two million people have been displaced, vital infrastructure has collapsed, and more than 60,000 children urgently need treatment for acute malnutrition. Children are dying daily from dehydration and waterborne disease - deaths that are 100% preventable.
Through their partnership with local organisation CESVI, Concern is:
• Trucking clean drinking water to displaced families
• Providing urgent hygiene and sanitation kits
• Supplying water filtration systems to Gaza’s last remaining children’s hospital
