Story
It has taken me 78 days since August 2022 to walk the South West Coast Path from Minehead in Somerset to South Haven Point, Poole. Others do it in one go and in much less time but for me it as been the most inspiring and challenging adventure in my life.
Walking our beautiful SW peninsula coast is challenging as you make your way up and down, in and out, of the many rocky inlets. Coast Watch stations are found on so many remote headlands, manned by dedicated and friendly volunteers. Millions make happy memories around our coast but it can be dangerous. The National Coastwatch have highly trained volunteers keeping a daily visual and listening watch for anyone in difficulty so HM Coastguard can send experts to the rescue.
I want to support this charity in recognition of the work by all these volunteers so that we can all continue to enjoy the challenges as well as the beauty we have around our shores.
Thank you for adding a small amount to my donation.
