I am a volunteer at Maggie's Manchester and have been a passionate supporter of this amazing charity for several years.

Every week I see first hand the effect that this beautiful light filled building with its peaceful garden has on those experiencing cancer. It is really very special.

Everyone including friends and family is given a warm welcome, cup of tea and a chat with a Cancer Support Specialist. Visitors regularly tell us that being at Maggie's feels like "A big hug" and that it is a true haven for them at such difficult times.

Thai chi, creative writing , art therapy and other classes are all free and anyone affected by cancer can drop in any time. Visitors can stay all day if they wish to and we always say to treat it like home.

Please help me reach my target and help spur me on to the top of the highest mountain in North Africa at 4176 m! ( FYI I am self funding the trip )

Maggies relies solely on charitable donations so any amount small or large is really appreciated.
