24 hour 11:11 Superted Challenge · 16 August 2025

Lennox Children's Cancer Fund makes a positive difference to the lives of children fighting cancer. This is achieved through key projects, such as Respite Breaks and Care Grants, which support the whole family practically, financially and emotionally at a time when it is needed most.

Story

Since Teddy overcame his battle fighting High Risk AML Leukaemia, Scott and I vowed to take part in regular challenges to give back to charities who supported us throughout our journey and remain close to our hearts. After taking on the London Royal Parks half marathon last year, Carrying our Giant Teddy, for Great Ormond St Hospital, we have this year decided to fundraise for Lennox Children's Cancer Fund.

We will be taking on our very own 24 hour Superted 11:11 Challenge. These numbers are very special to us, because Teddy was born at 11:11pm on 11th May 22.

Our Aim is to set off from Great Ormond St hospital at 11am and carrying our Giant Superted Teddy Bear all the way home, aiming to be home by 11am the following day. Carrying “Teddy” from the hospital that saved his life, to the place we call home 🏠

Lennox provide 4 pillars of support: Financial Support, Practical Support, Emotional Support and Respite Breaks.... Please continue to read below...

"Our four core pillars of support are at the heart of everything that we do. These support services are available to all of the families that we help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year."

"At the heart of our mission is a dedicated group of individuals who are passionate about making a difference."

Lennox continue to provide support to many families still facing the heart breaking news that their child has cancer and the devastation that follows, whilst they fight this horrible disease. In order to continue to do so they need to continue to raise vital funds.

Lennox have been supporting us throughout Teddys cancer journey and continue to support us to this day. If you support in any way via a small sponsor or sharing our challenge we will be immensely grateful.

With love Scott, Katie and Superted
