For my 'Big BFZ Trustee Challenge' I am gearing up for the Great North Run 2024, a half marathon event scheduled for September 8, 2024. This will be my first Great North Run, and despite thinking my days of event running were over, this challenge has inspired me to dust off my trainers and raise vital funds for our small but mighty charity.

Our goal is to raise £5000 to allow us to provide pre-school meals for ninety children for the next 12 months. Zambia is currently experiencing a devastating drought, and pre-school meals are needed more than ever.

Nine trustees will be taking part in events up and down the country and I am kicking things off with the GNR.
