This August, on behalf of KPSD, Sophie and myself will be taking on Lawrence Batley Theatre's Firewalk Challenge - all while raising vital funds for a brilliant cause.

Lawrence Batley Theatre is at the heart of live performance in Kirklees and as a registered charity, it relies on the generosity of supporters to continue its vital work.

Every year, the theatre hosts more than 450 performances, workshops, and events, reaching over 80,000 people both in the theatre and across the wider community. Beyond the stage, its work makes a real difference to people’s lives.

More than 6,000 local people take part in creative sessions each year, helping to build confidence, inspire creativity, foster pride in the community, and bring people together.
