We Make Magic Happen

Lawrence Batley Theatre is the home of live performance in Kirklees. As a registered charity, your support ensures that we can bring the magic of theatre to local people year-round.

We champion outstanding home-grown talent. We bring world class shows to Huddersfield. We are a welcoming place for our community.

Each year we host over 450 performances, workshops and events. More than 80,000 people enjoy our annual programme both in our theatre and within the community.

Community is at the heart of what we do. Over 6,000 local people each year enjoy our creative sessions. Our sessions nurture confidence, promote pride in the community and bring people together.

We rely on your generous support to ensure that we can bring the magic of theatre to local people, and this year, for the first time, we are inviting you to take place in our Firewalk Challenge.
