I am walking the Essex Way - the width of Essex, to celebrate 8 years of our amazing charity, Gold Geese. I want to remember and honour all the Gold Geese kiddos whose wings flew them to heaven along the way. This hike is for them, their parents and siblings. They are NEVER forgotten

The Essex Way Trek will take me from Epping, covering rural countryside and ending in the coastal seaside town of Harwich. It will take 8 days to get across Essex from West to East.

Bereavement support is one aspect of what Gold Geese do, it is a job I feel honoured to provide, but after 8 years the grief is feeling heavy. I want to take 8 days, solo, to think about every one we have lost and honour their wonderful families.
