Story
I'm taking on an abseil off Miller's Dale Viaduct for Support Dogs!
I'm turning 30 soon and to celebrate, I'm jumping off a bridge! Anyone who knows me will know that I hate heights, so this will be a massive challenge for me. To motivate me, I'm raising money for Support Dogs, so instead of gifts or birthday drinks, I'd be very grateful for donations to this very worthy cause.
I've been working for Support Dogs since September, and it's an incredible charity working really hard to change people's lives. Our dogs improve the independence and quality of life of autistic children, people with epilepsy and people with physical disabilities. I'm very lucky to have seen first hand the amazing things these lovely dogs can do to help people and how much they benefit our clients' lives. We're also currently fundraising for our brand new national centre, which will eventually allow us to triple the number of people we can help.
I'm pretty terrified and wondering why I agreed to do this, so please encourage me to jump by donating!
