Story
On April 1st 2026, I will fly into Tui, Spain to begin the ‘Camino de Santiago’. This is a 117km walk starting at the ‘Cathedral de Santa Maria de Tui’ and will end at the ‘Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela’ in Northwest Spain. My walk is scheduled to take place from 2nd – 7th April. There are many mental and physical reasons why people undertake this challenge each year and it is recognised as a reflective journey however many people use this to help raise awareness and to educate others – my personal aim is to raise vital funds for NI Hospice and support Amber River NI’s 2026 fundraising for them as well as sharing my journey on social media.
