As the school year is getting started, I’m feeling proud of my work as a board member of Higher Achievement. Our work is critical for COVID education recovery, and I hope you can join me in supporting their academic enrichment and mentoring work with middle school students.

As the last two years of the pandemic have seen the greatest decline in reading and math scores in more than 30 years, one of the most important factors in recovering from this learning loss is extra hours of instruction and academic support. Higher Achievement is working to be part of the academic solution, in addition to social-emotional learning and high school readiness support.
