Keith Edwards is going live from NYC Pride in partnership with GLAAD and NYC Pride to celebrate, uplift, and support the LGBTQIA+ community.

This fundraiser supports GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization. Founded in 1985, GLAAD works to ensure fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of LGBTQ people across media, culture, and public conversation.

GLAAD serves as a storyteller, media force, resource, and advocate — shaping narratives, holding media and platforms accountable, and helping ensure authentic LGBTQ stories are seen, heard, and valued. From its earliest days responding to discrimination, AIDS-era silence, and harmful media coverage, GLAAD has worked to change culture and accelerate LGBTQ acceptance.

This year’s NYC Pride theme, “For All of Us,” is a reminder that Pride is both a celebration and a commitment — to visibility, safety, dignity, equality, and showing up for the full LGBTQIA+ community.

Because JustGiving does not allow one fundraising page to split donations between two charities, we’ve created separate fundraising pages for GLAAD and NYC Pride / Heritage of Pride and joined them together through a team page. We are encouraging donors to support both organizations and hope to keep funds as balanced as possible.
