Cyclone Ditwah caused widespread devastation across Sri Lanka at the end of November 2025, displacing thousands, destroying homes, and leaving families without access to food, clean water, and medical care. The floods in Sri Lanka have left many families and communities struggling to rebuild their lives.

Cefas has conducted multiple projects in Sri Lanka, most recently the Ocean Country Partnership Programme (OCPP) and we have lots of friends and collaborators in country who have been affected by this event. Morena and I were in country in the days after the storm and heard first hand how this event has devastated areas of the country.

We will be holding a cake sale on 16th December 2025.
