As some of you are aware, I (Kerryn) was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in October 2024.

Crohn’s is a chronic form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and an incurable autoimmune disorder, the cause of which is currently unknown.

It’s been a challenging couple of months learning to adapt and get my head around the necessary lifestyle changes. Needing to channel some of this frustration into something positive but challenging, my husband (Henry) and I have decided to cycle the 320 miles from London to Paris over 4 days in July. But our real goal will be to raise £5,000 for Crohn’s and Colitis UK, helping to fund vital research into these diseases, to understand them better and eventually find cures.
