Story
I'm going for the London to Brighton Ultra 100km Continuous! I'll be walking all day and all night. Whatever it takes to get me to that finish line.
Alfie was a wonderful little boy who truly brightened everyone's day. He is my nephew and was regularly cared for at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Alfie had autism as well as numerous other conditions and sadly passed away in 2021 relating to sepsis. Alfie was really special, he always made everybody laugh with his bossy approach to life. My sister did everything she could to give him the best possible life, she achieved that, and so much more. He was always smiling, laughing, and showing everyone that nothing could hold him back.

Great Ormond Street Hospital provides vital care and support to children and families from all over the world. The work they do is immeasurable and is so important. These funds can give children like Alfie and their families hope, comfort, and support at one of the most vulnerable times of their lives.

I've been doing a few sponsored walks for charity recently, I have Trek24 and and an abseil down Kings College Hospital in London coming up in September.
But this, the 100km continuous is different. It's absolutely insane. Throughout the day and night, I'll be pushing myself further than I ever have before. And I'm getting to that finish line, with a picture of Alfie with me every step of the way.

Thank you for reading. Lots of love x
