One-Eighty Blenheim 7k Team 2023

We are a mental health and behaviour support charity, who support children and young people to improve their mental health and re-engage with education. Particularly supporting the most vulnerable young people, including those who have been through many other services, carers or professionals and still struggling with a variety of challenges.
Our work is primarily intensive one-to-one interventions, where we support children and young people dealing with complex personal challenges (such as trauma, bereavement, mental health difficulties, and those with difficult family circumstances) which specifically prevent them from engaging with school. This can often include children and young people who have been out of school for numerous years due to these challenges, who may struggle to leave their room or house. Our work can help them to overcome these barriers and access the next steps to engaging with education.
The money raised goes towards directly supporting this work as well as our preventative mental health projects. These take place in schools throughout the year and across the summer holidays, to some of the most vulnerable young people, with a particular focus on those transitioning from Year 6 to Year 7.
