Story
On Wednesday I will be BravingTheShave to help raise funds for people with cancer who need support and for a dear friend of mine who has been so supportive to me, and now faces huge challenges as a result of living on her own and having cancer.
My friend said ‘Macmillian hold my hand in all ways of support through my on going journey of cancer . They give me space to talk, face fears. Without them I wouldn't have any more surgeries and treatment’ meaning she wouldn’t have the energy or courage to carry on or even someone to go with her to the appointments.
I am donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust and also helping raise money for them too.
The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support to meet their unique needs.
That's why Macmillan will do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.
thank you for supporting my Brave The Shave! Who needs their hair, cut if off for children’s wigs, raise money at the same time and feel liberated! Whoooo (winter is coming!!)
