The Tabs Legacy Colour Run
The Tabs Legacy Colour Run is more than a school event. It is a chance for us to remember and celebrate a truly wonderful pupil whose courage, joy and spirit left a lasting mark on our school community.
My last memory of Tabs is from Sports Day. Even though she was very unwell, she was still determined to run one lap of the track. That moment has stayed with me. It showed everything that made Tabs so special: her bravery, her determination, her positivity and her ability to bring smiles to those around her.
This event would be a fitting way to honour her legacy. Tabs was full of colour, energy and joy, and a Colour Run would allow pupils to celebrate those qualities together. It would remind us that sport is not only about competition or winning, but about taking part, showing courage, supporting one another and creating memories that last.
The event would be open to all year groups, bringing the school together as one community. Pupils of all ages and abilities would have the chance to take part, celebrate Tabs’ memory and share in an event filled with colour, smiles and togetherness.
Most importantly, The Tabs Legacy Colour Run would help ensure that Tabs’ memory continues to inspire pupils year after year. It would remind us to be brave, to support each other, to find joy even in difficult moments, and to remember a wonderful pupil whose legacy deserves to shine brightly in our school.
