Thank you for visiting this page.
We are raising funds for Big Moose in memory of our dear friend, Stewart Kinsey.
Over the last few years, Stewart brought many of us together through Snowbombing and the gatherings in between. What started as a music festival became a genuine community, and Stew was right at the centre of it. He connected people who would never otherwise have met and turned loose friendships into something lasting.
Snowbombing is built on friendship, music, mountains and shared experience. It is chaotic, joyful and full of life. It feels like the right place to honour Stewart, because so many of our best memories with him live there.
Stew was one of those rare people who understood both the depths of pain and the real highs of joy. He felt things deeply. He reveled in friendships with the most random mix of people and somehow made everyone feel included. He had a laugh that cut through everything.
When he began going through a difficult period, many of us tried to support him. We showed up in the ways we knew how. In the end, it was not enough, and that is something we carry with us. In remembering him, we want to help create a world where reaching out feels easier and support is accessible earlier.
That is why we are supporting Big Moose, a mental health charity focused on early intervention and accessible therapy.
In April 2026, during Snowbombing, we will attempt to break the world record for the most people wearing inflatable costumes, and to set a new record for the most people wearing inflatable costumes on a ski slope. It is a seriously silly thing to attempt, and if Stew could see it, he would be absolutely cackling. But that is exactly why we are doing it. It is joyful, ridiculous and full of community, and we know he would love it.
If you are able to donate, thank you. Every contribution goes directly to the charity and supports people who need someone to listen.
Thank you for helping us honour Stewart’s memory in a way that brings people together and supports others.
