Story
For my midlife crisis I signed up to run a marathon, despite all available evidence pointing towards being a terrible runner.
So, while I slowly make my way around 26.2 miles wondering why I didn’t choose a hobby that involved sitting down, I’m raising money for people affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.
Living in Kathmandu, it’s been horrific to watch the devastation that has taken place over the past few days and the huge impact on communities already facing incredibly difficult circumstances. If my lack of running ability can be turned into something useful, this feels like a pretty good way to do it.
Every donation will help support flood relief in Nepal, and will also give me one more reason not to quit when I’m somewhere around mile 20, regretting every life choice that brought me there.
Thank you ❤️
