Did you ever have to go to school hungry? This is a daily experience for many children in the Kibera slum, leading to most of them dropping out of school to search for food. We are keeping 200 kids in school through nutritious breakfast and lunch.

Story

Turning Point Trust is raising funds to sustain its School Feeding Programme which helps to keep in school 200 vulnerable children from Kibera Informal Settlement in Kenya.

The kids are guaranteed of a daily hot breakfast and lunch when they come to school. Without these meals, majority of them skip lessons to go search for food through begging in the streets, involving themselves in child labour or even committing crime.

The feeding programme has greatly helped the children concentrate in class and attend school everyday therefore improving their learning outcome.

A donation of £15 can provide for a child's meal for one month. Please donate to keep a child in school.
