My older sister has battled with anorexia and OCD for around 8 years now and so it was different and almost weird not having a sister around whilst I was growing up and going through school. I have always felt guilty in a way for not supporting her as much as I wanted to but I found it difficult as I was away at school and she was back and forth from a clinic in South Africa. I have always wanted to run the London Marathon to show my support and how much I love her. By doing the half marathon, this is just the beginning of my support as I intend to run for more events.

Not only am I doing this for just my sister, but for my friends who have struggled with mental health and I am wanting them to know that I am there for them and here to talk to.
