Story
I’m so excited (and a little nervous!) to share that I’ve secured a place in the London Marathon 2027, where I’ll be running for Crohn’s & Colitis UK.
Those closest to me know that the last 10 months have been some of the toughest of my life. My body rejected my Crohn’s medication, leaving me with severe inflammation, causing me to lose 50% of the sight in one eye, and affecting both my health and confidence. It’s been an incredibly challenging journey, but it’s also made me realise just how important the work of Crohn’s & Colitis UK is.
That’s why this marathon means so much to me. Every donation will help fund vital research, improve diagnosis, treatment and care, support those living with Crohn’s and Colitis, and bring us one step closer to finding a cure. Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my fundraising page, would mean the world to me.
