On 31 July 2026 I will start cycling an extraordinary challenge: The Route, where a team of female amateur cyclists will conquer every stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (TdFFAZ), just one day ahead of the professionals.

My Mum had blood cancer last year so I have a strong connection with this charity. Being deaf I also have that slight need to prove myself, so this challenge, being the TdFFAZ, is a real once in a life time. Getting to feel what it is like to experience being a pro rider without the pressure of big competition is very exciting and a little daunting. However, this is nothing compared to all those going through chemo, and those children that show inordinate strength and resilience.

This epic journey isn’t just about pushing physical limits—it’s about making a difference. Every pound raised will go directly to Cure Leukaemia, the official UK charity partner of the TdFFAZ. These funds will support the revolutionary ATICUS Network, breaking barriers in clinical trial access for children battling blood cancer and bringing hope to families across the UK.

Please give anything you are able, every penny really does help.
