For those who wish to contribute, we have set up a donation page in memory of our incredible, beautiful, magical two year old daughter, Nuala.

Nuala benefitted from the support of so many charities throughout her stay such as Anthony Nolan, William's Gift, 4Louis and we are so appreciative of each and every one. However, one charity was set up to support parents during their stay at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital: Emmie's Kitchen. Their consistency has meant we've had some 'nice' food to look forward to as well as toiletries to make our time at RMCH that little bit better.

Emmie's Kitchen provided us with a hot takeaway meal every two weeks, as well as 'snack bags'. They also provided staples for those staying at Ronald McDonald House, which we benefited from during our first stay in intensive care with Nuala. They have provided toiletries throughout our stay and at Christmas, parents on several wards received pyjamas, books and snacks.

Emmie’s kitchen is entirely run by volunteers and dependant on donations. They make a HUGE difference to the parents who stay with their children at RMCH and we would love to donate to them to ensure they can continue to support many more parents who are looking after their children in hospital.

Nuala's journey has opened our eyes to just how much these small, local charities mean and we feel it is imperative to keep these going for all the other families of children like Nu.
