I’m taking part in Lock Up the Lawyers to raise money for Maggie’s, an incredible charity that provides free support to people with cancer and their loved ones.

On the day, I’ll be “arrested”, put on trial, and challenged to raise my bail by calling in favours and drumming up support. It’s all a bit of fun, but the cause behind it is very real.

Maggie’s offers free emotional, practical, and financial support to people when cancer turns life upside down. Their centres are open without appointment or referral, but demand for their help has never been greater.

So please donate if you can — help me make bail, and more importantly, help Maggie’s keep showing up for people who need them most.
