Complete the Moonlight Beach Walk 2025 for Weston Hospice!

After being diagnosed with cancer last year; this year I have been completely monthly challenges to raise money for as many different cancer charities as I can. As well as this, I have also made a bucket list of 25 things I wish to complete in 2025! This has always been something I have wanted to do but have never got round to it, so I have chosen this to be one of my 25 things! It costs £6 million a year to run Weston Hospicecare – and with just 18% funded by the NHS, community support is absolutely vital.

While the entry fee covers event costs, it’s participant's sponsorship that directly helps local families. Just £100 raised could provide Four bereavement support sessions for a child, or Two vital assessments by a doctor for patients in our Inpatient Unit, and so much more. Imagine what we could achieve if every walker raised that much.

Moonlight Beach Walk is Weston Hospicecare's most vibrant event of the year, and it’s set to be more magical than ever! On Friday 19 September, hundreds of Weston Hospicecare supporters join together for the Moonlight Beach Walk taking on the 5km or 10km walk in a stunning evening of colour, light, and remembrance along Weston-super-Mare’s beautiful seafront.
