WayfinderWoman Trust, recipients of The Queens Award for Voluntary Service, are a female run, volunteer led charity that has supported over 1,000 women since 2011 by providing free grant funded workshops, training, coaching, online support, and a drop-in information and advice hub in Eastbourne.

Story

Please help me raise £500 to help women transform their lives.

I’m walking from Eastbourne to Hastings pier - a half-marathon! It's a beautiful but very, very long walk.

WayfinderWoman helps any woman, at any stage of their lives, with any problem. The money I want to raise, £500, will pay for one of their courses and keep open the the 'Hub'.

It’s a safe space for women to get peer support, whatever their background. They get help to build their confidence so they can challenge whatever it is that’s stopping them - and transform their lives. Without that women can be trapped in poverty, in poor physical or mental health, or in a domestic abuse situation, isolated and unsure of themselves.

And this is why.

Last year B spoke about her daughter. “If only she’d known about you; that there was someone she could talk to, she might not have committed suicide.”

Please sponsor me, however large or small. Every pound will go towards providing free support and advice to women who need our help.
