31 Minutes of Exercise a Day in May 2025 · 1 April 2025 to 30 June 2025 ·

Challenge yourself to do 31 Minutes of exercise - any exercise you like - every day in May and raise money to help stroke survivors find strength through support.

Story

Six months ago, my Mum's life took an unexpected turn when she experienced a stroke. Since that day, she has embraced a positive attitude, determined to reclaim her life and restore her body to its former strength. This May, I am challenging myself alongside my Mum to complete 31 minutes of exercise each day alongside with the dogs Ivar and Boris. The initiative, "31 Minutes of Walking a Day in May 2025," is not just about personal recovery; it’s a fun and engaging way for us all to stay active while raising vital funds for stroke survivors.

Every contribution can make a significant impact. With your support, we can help stroke survivors find the strength they need through essential services and research. For instance, just £50 could fund research aimed at improving communication for those facing difficulties after a stroke. A donation of £150 could contribute to groundbreaking research into new treatments like thrombolysis—a life-changing clot-busting drug that has transformed outcomes for many survivors. Furthermore, £250 could cover one hour of Helpline activity, providing crucial support to families navigating the challenges following a stroke.

I invite you to join us in this journey of resilience and hope. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of countless individuals affected by strokes. Please consider supporting our cause as we strive to raise £100 during this event starting on April 1st, 2025.
