As a family we are taking part in Ashgate Hospice 3 mile Superhero Night Walk on the 19th October in loving memory of our wonderful Mama Beryl who spent her last days at Ashgate in August this year.

The care and support that Mama received whilst she was in Ashgate was nothing short of outstanding, from the Doctors and Nurses, Care Assistants, Volunteers and every single person that she came into contact with whilst she was there.

We want to try and raise as much money as we can to support so that Ashgate are able to continue to provide compassionate care.

£10 could pay for a (delicious!!) home made meal for one of their inpatients

£25 could pay for a loved one to receive bereavement support

£50 could pay for community teams to visit a patient in their own home.

We want to show our appreciation to Ashgate and hope that by fundraising and raising awareness we are able to support other patients and families, just like we were.

Mama Beryl would be delighted at the family dressing up as super heroes and doing a walk together in her honour, and we know that she will be there with us on the day.
