3, 2, 1 JUMP!

The 12th July 2026 is the date my eldest daughter, Lauren, should have been turning 20 years old.

To mark the milestone that she is not here to enjoy, and to raise money for the fabulous and invaluable institution that is Derian House Children's Hospice, I am, alongside my son and Lauren's little brother Rafe, preparing to leap out of a plane that is 3 miles up in the air!

On the 12th July 2026 we are strapping ourselves in and flying up to 15,000ft. Once there, the door of the plane will be opened and we will jump out attached to a British Skydiving qualified instructor and experience speeds of 120mph as we fly through the skies of Lancashire, to remember the whirlwind that was Lauren Menzies and to raise funds for Derian House Children's Hospice.

Derian House provide care and respite for children with life-limiting or life-shortening conditions across the North West of England. They support the families and loved one throughout the darkest days imaginable and provide lifelong support for all those affected.
