Hi, I'm Lauren and in May 2027 I will be travelling to Nakuru, Kenya with a group of volunteers to support local partner schools in a developing area of the country.

This incredible opportunity is in partnership with Derby County Community Trust and African Adventures.

For two weeks, we will be working alongside the community to help provide children from underprivileged backgrounds with access to education and opportunities. This is through classroom support, teaching, sports coaching, building and engaging in activities and games with the children.

Many previous volunteers have described this experience as truly life-changing and I hope to make a positive difference to the lives of the children we meet while developing my own skills, confidence and understanding of the world.

The Rams in Kenya project works with many partner schools to support as many children as they can but this is only possible through the generosity of donors and volunteers. Every donation will help to support this important work and contribute towards improving opportunities for children in these communities.

I would be incredibly grateful for any support you are able to give. Thank you for helping me support this amazing cause.
