Hi, we are Jess and Lauren and we are third-year primary education students at the University of Derby. In May 2027 we will be travelling to Nakuru, Kenya with a group of volunteers to support local partner schools in a developing area of the country.

For two weeks, we will be working with a community to help out in a place that doesn't have the same resources, funding and opportunities that we have here in this country.

As future teachers, we believe every child deserves access to quality education. By volunteering and raising funds, we aim to have a positive impact on these students' lives. Every contribution, no matter the size, directly supports this cause and helps to open up new opportunities for these children.

Thank you for your support.
