Those brave enough to walk 15 feet barefoot over burning embers will not only test their physical and mental endurance, but also know they’re supporting children and young people coping with the loss or terminal illness of someone they love.

The Children’s Bereavement Centre offers early intervention support to 3–18-year-olds across Nottinghamshire and parts of Lincolnshire. Based in Newark, we’ve helped thousands of families over the past 16 years and remain the only dedicated bereavement support service of our kind in the area. Your fundraising helps keep our services free, timely, and accessible to those who need them most.

What Your Donations Could Fund:

£10 pays for Hope, the teddy bear given to every child at their first session- a comforting friend to take home.£25 covers one hour of bereavement therapy with one of our trained play therapists, counsellors, or art therapists.Every child receives a course of at least eight sessions, so £200 can truly change a child’s life.
