Back for its second year the Children’s Bereavement Centre Firewalk promises an unforgettable evening of excitement, challenge, and community spirit!

It’s a chance to try something new, step out of your comfort zone, and tick off a bucket list experience- all while raising vital funds for an incredible local cause.

Those brave enough to walk 15 feet barefoot over burning embers will not only test their physical and mental endurance, but also know they’re supporting children and young people coping with the loss or terminal illness of someone they love.

The Children’s Bereavement Centre offers early intervention support to 3–18-year-olds across Nottinghamshire and parts of Lincolnshire. Based in Newark, we’ve helped thousands of families over the past 16 years and remain the only dedicated bereavement support service of our kind in the area. Your fundraising helps keep our services free, timely, and accessible to those who need them most.
