Mayor of Waltham Forest’s Christmas Present Appeal 2025

London Borough of Waltham Forest is raising money for Waltham Forest Mayor's Charity
In 2025 to 2026, Mayor of Waltham Forest, Cllr Tony Bell, will be raising funds for two vital, local charities; Haven House and Highams Park Food Hub. The Mayor will be raising awareness of Walthamstow Wetlands and his Mayoral themes, Fellowship and Nature. Thank you.

Story

We are pleased to announce that the Mayor of Waltham Forest 25-26, Cllr Tony Bell, is launching the Mayors Christmas Present Appeal 2025, for our children in need and care-experienced young people, so they know they’re remembered at Christmas.

Can you help us make sure every child gets a gift this Christmas? We’re looking for 700 new gifts for children and young people of all ages from 0 to 25. For those who’d like to donate but can’t give a gift, a collection is also being run which will be used to buy £10 gift cards for each child.

If you have any unused children’s gifts which you’re happy to donate, the drop-off location is Waltham Forest Town Hall Foyer, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17 4JF.

To make sure they get to children in time, please donate what you can by Monday 15th December 2025. If you have any questions, or if you are a local business interested in supporting, please email: mayor@walthamforest.gov.uk.

In the case that we have extra presents than needed this Christmas, any extra presents will go to additional children in need, or to children in need throughout 2026 for other special occasions.

We thank the amazing Waltham Forest community for anything they can give to help ensure every child gets a gift this Christmas.
