Across May, June, and July I’ll be walking 1 million steps to raise money for Lucas's Mito Mission, in aid of My Mito Mission.

Mitochondria is the powerhouse of every cell, and when someone has mitochondrial disease, the mitochondria does not work as it should, leaving the body without enough energy. Unfortunately mitochondrial disease can be life limiting and there’s currently no cure.

I’m taking part in this challenge to spread awareness of mitochondrial disease and to raise money for research into mitochondria.
