We first met in 2024 during our very first solo travelling experience in Uganda. What began as an incredible adventure quickly turned into a lifelong friendship, and we're now fortunate enough to share life together as a couple.

From the moment we met, we discovered a shared passion for helping others, experiencing different cultures, and giving back wherever we could. When the opportunity arose to take part in this challenge, it felt like something that aligned perfectly with the values we both hold close to our hearts.

This November, we'll be trekking through the Himalayas whilst raising funds for the Girls' Empowerment Programme, which supports thousands of girls and young women across Nepal through education, training and mentoring.

We're funding the cost of the trip ourselves, so every pound donated will go directly towards helping create opportunities for girls and young women who need them most.

This will be a huge physical and mental challenge, but knowing that every step we take can help create brighter futures for others makes it all worthwhile.
