At Ark Franklin, our playground is badly in need of updating and school budgets do not allow for spare funds to build really exciting new projects for children.

With the fundraising that we hope to get this year, we are looking to create a new play space for children in the Key Stage 1 playground. The “stone pit” area of the playground is looking old and is a space not well used. The School Council are in agreement and we would like to create an exciting “trim trail” for children to use. This will help children to be fit and active, as well as have fun and play with each other.

We are aiming to raise £20 000 to support this project.
