PSPA Pathway to Progress is a UK-wide virtual event where participants' collective distances walked, run, or cycled will be logged to cover 630 miles of the Southwest Coastal Path. Inspired by The Salt Path, help raise awareness & funds for PSP & CBD

Story

As a lot of you know Leslie reaches the ‘Big Seven O’ on July 20th! Rather than having a party or receiving presents she and David would be grateful if you would sponsor them on their own Salt Path journey to raise money for the PSPA (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association)

PSP ( Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) is a very rare form of Parkinson’s Disease

that effects a person’s movement, balance, vision, speech and swallowing, sadly it gets progressively worse over time. Leslie’s cousin has been diagnosed with PSP and several of David and Leslie’s close friends are living with Parkinson’s Disease. They both want to do something that would make a difference, help advance treatments and research into this awful debilitating disease.

For those of you who have read the book ‘The Salt Path’ by Raynor Winn you will know this, it is a story about an amazing journey along the 630 mile long South West Coast Path from Minehead in Somerset to Poole in Dorset. PSPA are using this story as part of their fundraising initiative this year.

Leslie and David, between them are undertaking a 630 mile ‘virtual journey’ walking, biking and swimming. They would be so grateful if you could donate any amount, you could afford to the cause and maybe join them on one of their walks bike rides or swims!
