Story
Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page.
Next month, I’ll be running/walking 50km through the beautiful – and very hilly – Peak District to raise money for St. Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley, a local charity that means a great deal to me.
St. Catherine’s has a powerful mission: to make sure no one has to face death and loss alone. They provide expert end-of-life care and support to people across Sussex and East Surrey – but they rely entirely on donations to make that happen.
This charity is especially important to me because of the care and support they gave my dad, Gary, when he was diagnosed with terminal gallbladder cancer. We had very little time, and none of us in the family had experience with what was best for Dad or how to support him in those final weeks. St. Catherine’s stepped in when we were completely lost — guiding us, supporting us, and helping make sure Dad had the dignity, comfort, and care he deserved during such a traumatic time.
I’m doing this for Dad. He was an incredibly important person in my life, and I’ll never stop trying to make him proud. I hope you’ll consider supporting me by donating to this amazing cause — your contribution will help other families like mine when they need it most.
Thank you so much 🧡
