Story
I have decided to take on the incredible challenge of completing the Chiltern 50KM ultra marathon in September.
My chosen charity is Guide Dogs as it’s a charity I hold close to my heart.
Most of you know my little sister Esmé lost her eyesight and was registered blind at the age of 15. She is currently on the guide dogs waiting list and they are an amazing charity who give visually impaired people their independence back.
Esmé is now 17 and she continues to inspire me everyday with her courage to keep going and not let her disability define her. She is currently in performing arts college and I know that having a guide dog will give her the freedom to become whoever she wants to be.
The training alone for one guide dog costs over £35,000 and there are currently only 5,000 guide dogs in the whole of the UK so raising money for this is vital to keep up the admirable work the charity does.
Please help me reach my target, every kilometre of this challenge will be motivated by the difference your donation makes.
