I'm running a half marathon to raise money for girls education. I've been lucky to have access to education and I've also been lucky to grow up surrounded by amazing people - family, friends, teachers, artists - who've shown me what's possible when we are all given the opportunity. They have been role models in many ways.

At the same time, I know that not every girl gets that chance. Millions of girls around the world are still being denied education just because of their gender. Girls education has come along way thanks to the work of others and activists pushing for equality. But there is still so much needing to change.

Running this half marathon is my small way of helping. I want to use this challenge to raise awareness and support girls who deserve the same chances I have.
