This September I'm walking one mile a day to help raise vital funds for children with additional needs who use Seaview's services.

Seaview Centre provides specialist care and support for children and young people with complex needs. The team offers tailored short stays and residential breaks in a safe, nurturing environment. These stays give young people enriching new experiences while providing families with essential support when they need it most.

Friends of Seaview is the dedicated charity that raises funds to enhance what the centre can offer. Currently they are raising money to make a vital purchase of a safe space bed, this is something that will make a major difference to the daily lives of the young people who stay at Seaview. For children with complex needs a standard bed often isn't enough to keep them safe or calm. A safe space bed is a custom built, soft walled environment designed specifically for young people who may be at risk of hurting themselves.
