Kai has ADHD and Autism and from a young age has struggled with anxiety, especially when starting secondary school. East Belfast Mission, supported by BBC Children in Need, have provided a place where Kai can be himself and talk through his anxieties. He has grown in confidence and now talks proudly about his ADHD and Autism.

Right now, too many children across the UK are facing life’s toughest moments alone. Many are living in poverty, facing mental health struggles, grief, disability, or growing up in communities impacted by violence. Every child deserves someone who shows up for them.
