Our Dartmoor Beast Challenge 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We’ve taken on another challenge — and this time, my younger brother Lyle has convinced us to tackle the Dartmoor Beast! After recently completing our fundraising for Tenovus Cancer Care, and having supported Macmillan over the last three or four years, we really didn’t think we’d be signing up for another challenge quite so soon… especially one that involves a LOT more running than I’m used to! 😂 In fact, when I actually read what the Dartmoor Beast involved, I very nearly pulled out before we’d even started!

But this challenge means so much to our family because it’s a little part of our nan’s legacy. She spent years raising money for this wonderful charity by making and selling her famous jams and cakes, so we’ve decided to take on this challenge together as a family in her memory. Mike is also taking part, having sadly lost his cousin Simon to a brain tumour, making this cause especially close to his heart too.

We know this is going to push us way outside our comfort zone, but we’re determined to give it everything we’ve got. Thank you so much for supporting us, donating, sharing our page and cheering us on — every single penny will mean so much. ❤️
